November Volunteer of the Month: Sarah Backes

TLC’s Student Ministry has begun a new way to honor those who go above and beyond within the church, student ministry, and community. Beginning with November, TLC’s Student Ministry Team and Leaders will select a student and a volunteer of each month that have been an example of Christ in their lives, in the community, and in the ministry.

Sarah Backes has been named the Volunteer of the Month for November 2011. Sarah has had a positive influence on a number of students over the last several months within the Student Ministry. She is always available and willing to lend a helping hand to any student or any area of ministry. Sarah was a volunteer for Dare2Share and the senior high trip to Boston this summer. Sarah has been a huge supporter of Breakthrough Student Worship service, attending most Sundays and even making snacks for the students who attended! Sarah also leads a Sunday night girls small group and is a part of the Student Ministry Leadership Team.
