October 16th, 2011 Review
Weekend Teaching Series: Lovesick (Week 2: Eggs in One Basket)
Sermon in a Sentence: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
Service Length: 50 minutes
Message: We each have different “baskets” in our life (Family, God, Friends, Extracurricular Activities, and Dating.) We want to live a life that is balanced in all of these areas, with God at the top. We do not want to put “all our eggs” in a dating basket that leaves us tied down and that forces our identity to become the person we are dating.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:12 and Proverbs 25:16
Music Playlist: Tell Me I’m a Wreck (Every Avenue), Father Will You Come (Unhindered), I Wanna Know You Like That (Anthem Lights)
Element of Fun/Positive Environment: We had two characters join us this week (Gumby and Puft Man) who came in and danced around, getting the students up out of their seats and pumped up!
Up Next: We are taking two weeks off and will resume on November 6th will a series titled Forward Motion.
